Kandace started her birth work as a certified birth doula, and now serves the families of her community as a certified postpartum doula, certified infant massage, certified placenta encapsulation specialist and birth art provider. Kandace is also a creative writer who runs the Sacred Whisper OKC blog and newsletter. She has worked with some amazing women who have inspired her to grow as a Doula and person.

 

Several years ago after the birth of her 1st son she was called to serve other women and families in her community, by empowering them to have the birth they desire & deserve. She is currently working toward providing childbirth and breastfeeding education. She also plans to become an Art of Sacred Postpartum: Mother Roaster and open a Sacred Space in Oklahoma City.

 

Kandace feels truly blessed to serve the Oklahoma City Metro community with her work. In fact she does not consider her work a job but a calling and privilege. She feels that the support of her family is why is able to carry on her work, her husband, Ryan, has become a huge advocate for “natural births” & “public breastfeeding”. When Kandace isn’t working she is caring for her 2 awesome boys, Ryker & Liam.

 

**Kandace is also a Certified Sacred Pregnancy Instructor.
