I have spent most of my life exploring the Pacific NW. My husband, two boys, and I are enjoying the community of Tacoma, WA and have been here for a handful of years. I have experience & training in family & human services & received my M.A. in Counseling Psychology, which surprisingly led me to launch Katy Leet Photography. I always knew photography and counseling would be a part of my life but never in this capacity. Through many conversations with new moms and through my own profound transition from maiden to mom, my passion to nurture, support, & create healing spaces for women was birthed. I dove into the birth Doula world with a six month apprenticeship with a seasoned Doula where I gained invaluable experience and compassionate care for laboring women. It is in the last year that I discovered the Sacred movement and Beauty way and I believe my passions have found a path in which feel authentic to who I feel called to be. I long to be a voice in the postpartum conversation and change how my community and culture support new mamas.
